How do I disable the iphoto auto launch when I connect either a digicam or a memory card? Thanks in advance.

I am not sure about iPhoto 06, but in iPhoto 08 :

- go to the preferences > General.
- You should see an option for "Connecting camera opens" (last option under general), just set it there.
MacBook Pro | 2.16 ghz core2duo | 2gb ram | superdrive | airport extreme
iBook G4 | 1.2ghz | 768mb ram | combodrive | airport extreme
iPhone 3GS | 32 GB | Jailbreak, or no Jailbreak

Otherwise the setting is in the preferences of Image Capture.app.

It would make sense to have it in the general prefernces though where you set the actions on inserting CDs and DVDs.

thanks very much guys. iPhoto is absolutely DESTROYING my PB performance. That'll teach me to load all those hi-res photos from my DSLR.

Cheers.
