Hey all, just wanted to inform you guys that my new alias on MacNN is NormPhillips (which is my actual name). This is replacing Norm1985. I've wanted to replace it for a while, but delayed it because I wanted to see if the admins could transfer over my post count. Unfortunately, they won't. Ah, I'll miss being 'Addicted to MacNN' with 1592 posts. Well, time to start over again.

Because I hated the identity Norm1985. Besides, I think NormPhillips sounds better.

"Devil ether, it makes you behave like the village drunkard in some early Irish novel. Total loss of all basic motor skills. Blurred vision. No balance. Numb Tongue. The mind recoills in horror. Unable to communicate with the spinal column. Which is interresting, because you can watch yourself behaving in this terrible way, but you can't control it"

Anyone who can't recognize this as being one of the signs of the coming apocalypse is crazy.

actually when i was sitting eating my lunch in front of the library today, these two friendly fellows accosted me and started telling me about how important it was that i prepare myself for the second coming of Our Lord God Jesus Christ, and build a metaphorical ark, cause it's going to be like the great flood, and wouldn't i rather be like Noah than like his contemporaries?
but they told me they didn't know just how soon it was going to happen. thanks for pointing this out, chris. if i run into those friendly fellows again tomorrow, i'll refer them to this link.

After all, if I keep my name around long enough it will have retro appeal.

Am I gonna be the only one who actually kept their original name here? or the only one who doesn't post under three different names?
