I'm a recent ebay convert, in general selling Apple kit is a lot easier too as people know what they are getting unlike it you sell a PC.
Plus they hold their value pretty well!

In the USA there is no doubt that Ebay is the best place, in Europe I would think an add in the MacWorld newspaper (or similar) would be best.

Yep, in Europe E-Bay doesn't work --- unfortunatelly, since I have iBook parts to sell to compensate for my recent PB purchase
Local pawn/repair/2nd-nad stores give incredibly crap prices for the items, since noone know what the hell it is. I mean their commercial/website feature photos of LCII
Local Mac newspapars/mags are likely non existent (unless you are in the UK). So an ad in one of those sell/buy/looking for a kincky lover newpapers is probably most people's best bet. Its free to put in an add ... I may try it in a while and see if I can get any responses from that. For now, I still have remains of my iBook to look at

Scooterboy,
In addition to the aforementioned, check out PowerBookCentral's PowerBook Classifieds forum. It is a great resource for buying and selling any Mac, with the focus primarily on PowerBooks and iBooks.
I wish you much luck with your endeavor!

Yes, I'm gonna have to agree with the eBay sentiment. I've seen some iBooks command a really nice price on ebay

I just sold mine here in the Marketplace section in two days.
Got a friendly intelligent buyer and we met in person for the deal.
This was after trying PowerbookCentral for a few weeks of low-ball rude offers and no follow-through.
I highly recommend Marketplace here, but Ebay can bring a good price with some hassle.
Just my experience

Hmm... That may be because most people who have nads already have two of them.

Defnately go with eBay. I just sold my 600/CD/16 VRAM for $870. Not a bad price. You could also try the marketplace forum, as suprz's ghost already mentioned.

Powermax ( http://www.powermax.com) has such a good trade program, you might take a look at it. I've done several trades with them and been very pleased with the friendly service, promptness, and fairness of the trade price. I'd highly recommend them. I go this route instead of e-bay because it's a sure thing.
