I have both a clamshell and a 600mhz model. The 600 is my main Mac, though, so it got my vote.

Graphite Clamshell G3 466SE here...
In the time since I bought it, loads of other Macs (Powerbooks, Powermacs, Cubes etc) have come and gone, but this machine has remained a constant...
At the moment, it is my main machine until my Dualie G5 arrives... It has the RAM maxed out, and runs Jaguar. Overall, it does the job admirably!

I recently upgraded from a 500 DVD to a 700 CD-ROM. I got a good deal on the 700 and rarely watched DVD's on it, anyway.
The 500 didn't go anywhere far. My GF is loving it!

A checkbox poll would have been better if the poll software the board runs would have allowed it. I've got crystal white 500MHz and 800MHz iBooks. Kind of a bummer only being able to vote for one.

Hello,
Wow! The 700 has taken the lead!
I have a 700Mhz/30GB/640MB/Combo. It's a nice machine, but I wish I had one with 32MB VRAM instaed of just 16MB VRAM. Oh well.

So we need another poll:
What model is your second iBook?
My other iBook is a combo 800 (7 months old).

Graphite Clamshell 466 SE. It's still a great computer and people still say "Wow! Isn't that one of those NEW Apple iBooks?!" When I tell them that my case design was changed a few years ago their eyes get really big. They can't believe my iBook is "old news"! The clamshell is still a crowd pleaser. I hope the next case design is as gorgeous!

Yeah. The clamshell is still a beauty. Too bad the resolution is limited to 800x600. Acceptable for OS nine, but a bit too little for ten.

I was thinking the very thing, the original 300 is a far cry from the Firewire 466 SE.
Anyways I have the latter.

Well it seems the most popular iBook by far is the 800 mhz one. Hmm... it seems a lot of people were tempted by that 32 meg video card.
