Hi All.
I'm a new switcher to mac and am loving it. I'm having an issue and any help would be greatly appreciated.
I recently ran the updater and downloaded and installed them all (Including an Airport one).
Now whenever I start my mac, it seems to look like its connected to the network, however I cant view any other computers or use the internet. I have to disconnect and reconnect before it will work again. This happens on both wireless networks I use frequesntly - one = Linksys, the other = Netgear...
Its getting a little frustrating... Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks for any help.

Welcome to the MacNN Forums!
Now to your problem. How is your AirPort card configured? And when you "start" your Mac, are you really just waking it up, or are you booting it? That makes a difference, since sometimes AirPort cards don't "wake up" properly and you have to go through the process you describe to get connected.

Heya.
Thanks for the reply.
Its happening on boot up, and seems to wake up fine.
Its a MBP and it used to just automatically connect to whichever "preferred network" it found. It doesnt seem to be having trouble with any passwords.
As for setup. I'm not sure... Pretty safe to say I havent changed anything since I got it.
