My ipod has been acting really wierd lately. its been chenging artwork and freezing and just acting all wierd when the battery was low the other day.
one time it kept resting itself for a half an hour straight and every time it did the lcd looked like it was bleeding. when it finally came back on the battery was dead and i had to plug it in. last night it just wouldnt play any music and im pretty sure im hearing hard drive falure. It is working but i think it is barely holding on. Does anyone think this is a die-ing hard drive? im to the point where im about to just say f- it and buy a new ipod.

I would suggest trying to restore the iPod to the factory settings just to see, but it sure sounds like a hardware problem, so you'll either have to get it fixed or get a new one. Getting a new one is likely the better choice.

I doubt you'll get much help here. Take it to an Apple Store.

Well it's not under warrenty and I'm just trying to figure out if it is a big problem because I'll probobly just wait until it dies adn get a new ipod. I'm not going to put a lot of money into it if it is a big problem.
