The tradeoff of wearing heels is that they're a little uncomfortable and they take some getting used to. I'm pretty sure just about every woman who has ever worn them is well aware.

When I first met my wife one of many things I liked about her was her walk in heels. Confident as all hell. I, at the time, saw that as a challenge and to this day I am exceedingly glad I went for it.

Agreed. Personally I do not find long legs or high heels to be attractive. Barefoot beats heels any day.

As long as the heels wearing is not due to the woman thinking that she has to, ala making themselves super thin...

Heels make legs look longer and thinner. Simple laws of design/sculpture if you look at it from an abstract view

Which ties in with my statement that for the shoes to work the woman has to be able to walk in them. How does the "sculpture" look if the dynamics of the form go to crap when it's viewed from a different angle or while moving?

Tell me, since when are fashion and practicality in any way related?
If you look back at history, you'll see that fashions that in some way restrict the user/wearer are often a sign of social status. In ancient China, long fingernails, in men, told the rest of the world that the wearer didn't have to make a living using his hands, signifying high status. Today, nail varnish sends the same message - you can't have manicured hands if you're a farmer or contractor.
High heels developed to a: make the wearer look taller, again a sign of social status and b: also send the message that unrestricted mobility isn't all that important.

Assuming we're talking heels - as in 3 inches or higher...
Perhaps it's the extra work forced onto the muscles, but I think high heels enhance a woman's legs and ass, and cause the breasts to jut out in a manner that is quite appealing.

Better question: Why do men wear suits and neckties? They don't even help my bum look good.

Some women can walk quite nicely in them. Some can't. Just like some guys can pull off a pink shirt, and others cannot.

Cause ties are phallic symbols showing how manly you are.

Some heels are ok, but I couldn't do it on a daily basis. There's just not enough support or cushioning built into most women's footwear to do it. Even in flats, most women's shoes are made like crap. I like a good sturdy sole, low heel, and not too pointy.
It has been proven that if you wear heels every day your achilles tendon shortens. Not good.
I've been told that wearing heels I am intimidating. Good.

Good to have a woman's perspective on the matter! Have you guys ever talked to women about the experience of wearing heels?

Yes, though I'm not sure how it's relevant.

Exactly. Much better to try wearing them yourself, for the full experience.

Tragically, they do not seem to make heels in a size appropriate to my ungainly man-feet.

I think mens underwear is sturdier overall, but I never understood why they still make clothes with that little pee flap that nobody ever uses.
Does anybody here use their pee flap?

I've actually been thinking of peeing sitting down on a regular toilet, it is so much more sanitary that way. Urinals are cool, but they never seem to be available in homes for some reason.

Same goes for taking a dump. Never do it while standing.

Yes. Do you drop your drawers to your ankles at a urinal?
