does iMovie '08 work with Powershot TX1? Or do you have to import with iphoto and then move the files over?

We have a TX1 on display at our shop. I'll see if I can give it a test on Monday.

You have to import with iPhoto or Image Capture. Keep in mind that iMovie '08 automatically offers you movies from iPhoto in the Even Library, so it's not really a huge issue.

I know iMovie08 will NOT work with a Sony DCR-TRV310 Digital 8 camera.

All Sony video cameras don't play nice with Mac.
