I posted an article over at Creative Bits for using your bluetooth phone as a remote control for DVD, iTunes and Keynote. The nice part about the Sony Ericsson phone is that there is a remote control tool built into the phone and you only have to tweak with the key mappings to get it working perfectly in any app you want. Then it's a case of creating a PNG faceplate to use on the phone screen itself.

Salling Clicker and others do a lot more but I only wanted simple and free control over the apps.

Anyway here's a few faceplates for DVD, Keynote and iTunes and the Bluetooth HID files if anyone has a SE Z800, S700, K700 and K750i.You can download the tool to map keyboard shortcuts to the phone from http://developer.sonyericsson.com/si...isc/p_misc.jsp

That is TITE. I love SE phones, they rule. Right now I'm stuck with a POS nokia... but I may just get myself a P910a. Unfortunately not on the list you go there, but a very cool phone indeed. And a drastically dropped price.

Thanks for the heads up. Pretty much anyone can make one of these for any App with keyboard shortcuts. I was able to bang these up in a matter of minutes.
