Sometimes I wonder what the fuss is about. My original 1st gen. iPod works fine for about 5 hours. Non-stop.

That sight is as biased as is Real's. Less than 1% of all iPods sold have this problem. Warranty covers it, and batteries are cheaper than ever to replace.

This is old news. Very old news.

iPod is Hatt, hatt, baby.

I was still getting 9 hours out of my first-gen 5 gig when I sold it six months ago. The person I sold it to has no complaints so far.

When a true genius appears in the world you may know him by this sign, that the dunces are all in confederacy against him. -- Jonathan Swift.

Buy a new battery, and you'll be up to 11 hours. I plan on getting one for my 2nd gen 10 gigger.

The iPod is still King!

That is old. You can replace it yourself.
My iPod is messed up. It won't plat AC/DC or Led Zeppelin. It's pissing me off.
