As much as i've hated the AOL sys Admin popup every time i opened and additional iChat app with the same account, it seems that now any other ichat/AIM app that is running on a particular acccount will quit when another one is opened.

When did this happen. Seems like it started yesterday.

Can anyone else weigh in on the new "feature"
"....and the capital of Nebraska is Lincoln!"

As of one minute ago, it works as before - the popup saying I am logged in from two locations.

It doesn't give you that popup if you log on from 2 locations that are on the same internet IP, meaning if you have a router in your house you can sign on from all your computers and not see that message. Same goes for multiple application connections (AIM/iChat/Adium/Proteus) from the same machine.

Didn't want to start a new thread, I have the same problem as the OP.

Both macs are running Tiger, on the same home network behind a router (so same external IP ?).
When I try to log in with the same user name, the signed in mac will log out to allow the other to log in. This didn't happen in Panther as I was able to log in with both macs on exactly the same network setup simultaneously.

Anyone else (not) having this problem and can offer any help? I'm not interested in whethe ror not the pop-up appears, but just whether it's possible to log in simultaneously on this network setup. Is it a bug (affects some users) or a 'feature' (affects all users)?

Thanks
