Is there any way to prevent Mail from changing the screen name of a buddy?
i.e. When I get an email from a buddy, their screen name in iChat is changed from johndoe234 to John Doe. This is incredibly annoying.
It started with Panther I think. Here's what I believe happens: the email is addressed from "[email protected] (John Doe)" and then address book adds the name "John Doe" to the card with the email address "[email protected]". Then iChat sets the screen name of "johndoe234" to the first and last name of the card containing "johndoe234" as the AIM name.
