Hi:

Does anyone know how I can open up the files on my 100MB Zip Disks using my old Iomega Zip 100 USB? I have downloaded the IomegaWare for OSX from their website but when I try to install it, I get a message that says:

"Error Creating Folder
1008:9,-5000 Access denied error"

I tried turning off my password but that hasn't helped. Even the OS 9 version of the software will not work.

Many thanks,
Don

Did you first try plugging in the Zip drive without installing software? It should just work; I've used a Zip 100 USB with OS X before, and many schools do this as well.

Yes...I tried that but I only got the following message on the desktop:

"You have inserted a disk no
volumes that Mac OS X can read.
To continue with the disk inserted,
click ignore."

Many thanks for your suggestion,
Don
