Best way to find out is to call Apple support.

As ludicrous as it may sound, i believe they only guarantee that a certain % of the pixels to be working properly. Have you tried applying a small amount to pressure to the pixel in question? I've heard of LCDs shipping with "stuck" pixels and, in certain cases, they can be fixed by merely massaging the area around the pixel itself. If that doesn't do the trick i'd definitely make some serious noise over at Apple Support to get your LCD swapped/repaired. A 15" CD with dead pixels is a sure-fire way to put a dampener on one's otherwise incredible viewing experience.
PS: MN weren't you the same one who was having problems with their Cube power switch? Are you sure you're not using your Mac in 30 miles southeast of the Florida coast?

I have one dead pixel on my 15" studio in in the lower right hand corner. Its stuck off (black) so its really no big deal. Its almost impossible to get a perfect screen.
I feel for ya with 3 though are they bunched together or spread out? Maybe (and thats a big maybe) they will give you a break and exchange it if they are real close together. 3 is within normal spec according to Apple though. Good Luck

You sir are Lucky,Congrats
As long as they are spread out I think they allow 7.. I read that is a couple less then the industry standard. I'm happy I only have one

SpeedRacer, yes it was me. The story is, I got my monitor replaced, not the switch works ok, but I have 3 orange-tinted dead pixels. My previous monitor had a perfect screen, though it was useless. It was SO annoying to have the monitor control panel poping out every second....
One last question...the same applies to PowerBooks?? I have a Pismo and it has a perfect screen...what about that?
