Can someone with two iPhones synced to the same iTunes account tell me if purchased apps will work with both phones? i.e. do you have to buy everything twice, or does it just sync to both phones???

Downloaded and installed without any issues.
Have Exchange running along with my two personal email accounts and downloaded a few applications.
Very impressed.

If I update to 2.0, is there a way I can revert it back to 1.1.4 before I sell it? (so people can unlock it?)

fwifw, 2.0 has been jailbroken.

installer.app will probably still be quite useful for apps that Apple doesn't endorse/approve (the videorecorder for example — haven't seen a single app for that in the store). no word on 3G SIM-unlocking yet.

Push works for email, but not for calendars or contacts yet. Maybe MobileMe isn't quite ready to go on those fronts.
Yes, I turned on the contact and calendar syncing.

Subscribed calendars are back and PUSH calendars now works. Takes about 20 seconds for an event to move from my desktop iCal to my phone and vice versa. Contacts still not pushing.

works great for me too. I played with AIM, not bad but I cant find a place to sign out on the software and if you move to another app it doesnt show that you have a message which I expected since Apple hasnt released that data cloud for push to apps yet.

AIM has preferences in your system prefs to sign out when you close the app.

According to John Gruber of DaringFireball.net and his latest post, Apple encourages developers to put the settings of their app into the Settings part of the iPhone.
It makes sense to me.
On my iPhone I have Shazam, reQall, and AIM which have settings in Settings.

Hey, I'm halfway through downloading from the link above and say why not click check for updates in itunes one last time. Sure enough iphone 2.0 is in itunes!
Downloading and installing it the proper way now. It better be ready quick since I don't want to be late to work.

Since manually upgrading to build 5A347 from 1.1.4 I can't restore now that the 2.0 software is officially released. Any one else seeing the same error?

Is 2.0 no longer available via iTunes? Mine keeps telling me that 1.14 is the latest version. On one attempt- I got a "there's a new version" message, but that quickly went away.
Anyone else?

Yeah, it keeps on going between telling me that 2.0 is out, and that 1.1.4 is the latest. Apple is really shooting themselves in the foot.

My 2.0 download disappeared. I downloaded it this morning before leaving for work; just went to install it but it is gone. A few minutes ago iTunes was telling me that 1.1.4 is the latest, but just now offered to let me to update to 2.0 (but not download it only, like I did this morning). Yikes.

Instead of clicking Update, click Restore. That's how I had to force iTunes to download 2.0. Plus, if you read the support article, the iPhone update process does a restore anyway. Just make sure you sync it before restoring!

Tried your suggestion with no difference. Still says 1.1.4 is the latest.

After nearly breaking my finger from clicking the mouse, iTunes finally found 2.0.
Downloading and installing now. The fun begins!

I upgraded my phone today, and I have had Safari crash on me 3 times while I was on Apple's web page trying to set up a genius bar appointment for my wife's powerbook.
Anyone else having crash issues?

I managed to get the update around 8 this morning I presume before the huge demands to the servers rolled in with the 3G phones. Working fairly well, but I've had a number of applications crash and I think 3 OS level crashes.

Eventually it will be there. Go outside, have some fun. Come back later and see if it's ready. No need to fret over Apple's servers not taking the load.
