Apple did it to me again... new product right after I get the old one.

I received 04 for Christmas. Is there any hope for return/exchange or should I just wait until iLife 06 comes out in 12 months? I thought iLife was going to be more like a once every 3 years thing like Office. Oops!

I think you are out of luck when it comes to an upgrade discount. If you want iLife '05, you will need to pay the full $79 for it (which by the way is $30 more than iLife 04).

unfortunately it's only if you purchased it in January that you can upgrade for $20.
