what would the best place be to buy a mac?

i noticed on amazon they have a 150$ rebate on the macbook pro, free shipping, and i assume there is no tax. would this be the best place to buy and does amazon always have rebates on macs?(if i were to buy after the next update for example)

thanks

Amazon.
They almost always have rebates, of varying sizes.

I bought my last PowerBook from Amazon because of the rebate. Recently started researching best prices and if I were to buy a Macbook Pro 15" 2.33 C2D, I would go with ecost. They have it for $150 less than MSRP and there's no rebate to wait for.

do all these places also provide the one-year warranty that apple provides? (i suppose I can't see why not since the warranty is through apple, but i just wanted to make sure)

Regardless of where u buy your Mac from you'll always get the 1yr standard warranty cover from Apple.

I bought a macbook core 2 duo from amazon recently, and bought a macbook C2D from apple about two months ago. I was satisfied with the experience, price, and delivery from both.
