What speed is your PowerBook? Is it the G4? I have the G4 500 and it gets up to 75 Celcius... Than the fan comes on and cools everything down. If I am just browsing the web, I just crank it down to 300 MHz and the fan never even comes on. You might want to look into getting a Podium Coolpad... I have one and love it!

whats up with the PCMCIA-card fan, does this really help cool things down? can anyone recommend a specific PCMCIA-card fan?
