Oh it's nice.

I like the optimized drawing of the planning map and the improved 3d-ness of it is nice too. Added option to pick your ammo is cool too.

Game play is much smoother and the graphics are more pleasing to the eyes. The new ROE and tacital comands are cool. Telling a team to "defend" or "snipe" is really sweet.

Can't wait to check out the full version and get a game on-line.

When I try to run the new demo, the program turns the screen black, appears to resize it, and then quits with an error type 2. It generates a file "Rogue Spear.log" with the following text:

OPTIONS: Reading registry key Software\Red Storm Entertainment\Rogue Spear Demo
OPTIONS: Could not read KeyMapFileNameUO file keyboard.kmp, using defaults
OPTIONS: Could not read BoundKeyMapFileName file boundkey.txt, using defaults

I have 160MB RAM and enough free HD space. I've tried reinstalling and rebooting with the minimum extensions (ATI, QT, and OT) and nothing works. I also have QT 4.0.3. Any suggestions for what's wrong? Thanks.

It's runs like a crack whore on my voodoo imac. The screens are compeletly messed up, flickering all over, and the cursor leaves trails everywhere. First game I've ever tried that's been completely strung out.

Saintz: Try increasing the preferred memory allocation on the Rogue Spear Demo app.

Ca$h: Rogue Spear, like Rainbow Six, doesn't like the Voodoo2 on any machine. Just so you know, all Voodoo2 users seem to be in the same boat.
