I have an imac DVSE. I recently bought a DVD on ebay and it made my imac freeze when I tried to run it. I returned it and she sent it back to me and said it worked fine on her home DVD player. Is there any setting adjustment I can make to allow this DVD to play on my imac or am I out of luck? (It won't load. It freezes the computer if you try to exit out of the DVD player.)

You may need to update the DVD software. Run the software update control panel and see if there's a DVD update you need.

Also run the Quicktime updater and see if anything pops up.
