anyone know a way to get white keys on this thing? i got a powerbook titanium.

I haven't heard anything since I collected requests for a possible new model a few months ago. I'm afraid that he is having financial difficulties, and I don't know whether or not he will be able to make a new line.

even if it could be - i dont see how you could get the keys. you'd have to either buy a ibook or steal them from some store's display laptop that they put out - which is not only tough to do, but also illegal and not worth it.

Well, you could find someone with a dead iBook willing to lose their keyboard. Or you could buy a keyboard of individual keys from pbparts.com.

So, it would be possible to swap the keyboards between a TiBook and a 2002 iBook?

BTW, it's also possible to buy a white iBook keyboard on eBay...

Just a thought...

The iBook keyboard won't work as a replacement for the Powerbook's keyboard. You have to switch the key caps themselves, not the entire thing.

You could trade keys with someone that thinks their iBook would look cool with dark keys!

I love the U.S., but we need some time apart.

alright everyone,

check this out

i posted a thread over at the ibook forum asking if anyone wants to switch keys. maybe we can wait a week and see how many people are interested.

if you're a powerbook owner and you're interested in switching keys, post your information on this thread. that way, we can organize a way to do a swap with people in about a week.

i think i'd be down to swap keys with someone. white keys would look a lot better on the powerbook
