We are trying to copy my iPod contents (created on a windows machine) to a freshly setup iMac. ITunes does not seem to give us any way of copying the contents to this machine.
Content has been copied from my own CD collection
Help please!

There's a bunch of things you can do.
Option one is to have your local Apple Store, if you have one, transfer the content of your PC to your new iMac.
Option two is to do it yourself.
Option three is to follow the links above pull the music off your iPod.

Look into the new iTunes 9 "Home Sharing" option. You should be able to copy the tunes from one machine to another on the same network using this.
