We are demonstrating some iPhone 3G Apps at local Mac Users group and I wanted to show iPhones Display on projector.
I have both sets of Apples cables to connect to TVs, but they are only enabled when using as an iPod.
Is there any way?

There has to be a way because Apple displays the screens during keynotes, but it may not be one Apple wants the outside public to have.

I think HIS doesn't output via the Dock connector at all.
If you look at the keynote videos, there a big fat black cable that comes directly out of the iPhone.
In fact, he mentions it specifically in one of the presentations (can't remember if it's the original one in Jan 2007).

Yeah download the dev tools and you'll have an emulator to load the apps onto.
Minimize everything else and you can demo the Mac Screen to the projector.

It isn't an elegant solution but if your iPhone is jailbroken, you can install a vnc server (think it's called veency) onto the iphone (those who aren't familiar with vnc, it's basically a remote desktop), You can then basically "log-on" to the iphone from your pc/mac with a vnc client and it will show up on your desktop - it'll mirror your iphone screen but the smooth animation may be slightly choppy - you'll need to be on a wifi network for both your mac/pc and the iphone on the same network for it to work best.... you can also do the reverse (what I do), install a vnc server onto your pc/mac and mirro the screen onto your iphone - I use it as a remote control sometimes if I have my pc connected to my tv and am too lazy to go to the pc to change my selection on a site like hulu.com.
