Screen caps are built into the game. If you plug in a full-sized keyboard to your PB (if you are, indeed, playing with your PB) you can just use the 'print screen' key. You can also go into your game prefs and change the default key mapping for the screen shot to something your PB supports.
And to get rid of the interface, type 'alt-z'.

Geez, that second screen shot convinced me to never ever ever play this game... how in the world can you keep track of all that crap and meters all over the screen?
...looks like a horrible interface.

That's a customized interface that looks nothing like the interface to WoW. But you'd be amazed at how useful it can be in a raid, especially in Molten Core. Most of the time, you never see anything like that.

That is ALL ui mods.
He modified his interface to look like that.
I don't have a standard screenshot on hand but, the default interface is super basic.

Just Google "world of warcraft screenshot" and you'll come up with a bunch of them.

As others have said the UI in my screenshot was 100% modified ( Although very dirty at the time. We ran MC from start to Ragnaros on a Friday night [ about a 7 hour ordeal ], and alot of the clutter was simply a result of me moving stuff around on the fly as I needed it )
The default WoW UI is nice and minimalistic. It is also 100% customizable.

Can't you use OS X's built-in screen capture abilities?
If you want quality, you want TIFF, not PDF, TGA, or PNG.

Unless you have a thing for wasting disk space, don't use TIFF, use PNG.

Specifically what is wrong with PNG? Both are lossless formats, both support embedded profiles and alpha channels. They should be pretty much identical in quality.

PNG is supposedly loseless, but it's still compressed. TIFF isn't.
You start with TIFF, and then convert to PNG, JPG, etc.
TIFF is the way to capture if you want a high quality original.

"Supposedly lossless"? Either an algorithm is lossless or it isn't. Being compressed doesn't mean anything except that it takes less space. It does not mean lower quality. (Or do you think Word files become lower quality when you zip them?)

Compressed DOES mean loss of quality.
My family own a professional photo lab... I know what I'm talking about.

I don't think your photo lab deals heavily in digital photos. Once a photo is digitized, a compression algorithm can be applied to it, and this algorithm is either lossy or not. Either you get the same bytes on decompression that you put through compression or you do not.
Say an image is represented by the string of bytes "A55229F7". An actual image will be much longer, but let's just say for the sake of argument that this is your image. We run this through my fictional compression algorithm and get "A522F7". It's now compressed. My compression algorithm sees this and knows to expand this into "A5[A5/2][A5/4]F7", which is "A55229F7", which is our original image. This is thus a completely lossless operation. It's a mathematical fact.
This is obviously a cooked example that doesn't take into account the full details of how a compression algorithm is implemented, but it demonstrates generally how the math works and that compression does not necessarily mean loss of data.

No, you don't.
There's lossy compression (JPEG) and lossless compression (ZIP, Stuffit).
I write software that deals the following formats:
GIF
JPEG
PNG
TIFF
PS
PCL 5
PCL 6
PDF
TGA
And a host of file formats you never heard of, including one I derived myself (proprietary at the moment).

^exactly. This is off topic and I'm tired of arguing it.
Loseless or not, it's COMPRESSED!!
Take a PNG into a professional film lab and they will laugh at you.

You said:
"Compressed DOES mean loss of quality."
No it does NOT.
Use Stuffit or ZIP to compress one of your lovely TIFFs and then uncompress it and tell me you lost data in the process.
We deal in images that are of higher quality than you will ever see in your lifetime. Your "professional photo lab" will never, EVER see the images we have to deal with at work. We have to deal with proofing, CMYK, RGB, hexachrome, and so many other formats that would make your head spin. We have a color proofing system, a workflow, paper management, printer drivers, and a host of other things.
What does your "professional photo lab" do? Crop and print?
PNG is an ACCEPTED format. Just because it's compressed doesn't mean a goddamn thing (except that the file size is smaller).
Could you tell the difference between a TIFF and a PNG? I seriously doubt you could.
You probably hate the DNG format also.

^You are pissing me off now by making assumptions and personal assaults on me and my business.
You have NO idea what I do or what kind of files I deal with.
Crop and print... no, I don't think so.
Now, drop it.
Stick with your buddy PNG and I'll stick to TIFF, thanks.

I'm curious - if someone walked up to you and said "I have a TIFF, but it's real big and couldn't fit so I zipped it", would you sh*t all over that?

This argument is pointless. We are all offering logic and math and ****, and he's just saying, "No, I don't want to talk about it." So, let him piss off any actually knowledgeable employees he may have, and let's post pictures of people messing up some paladin's junk or something.

Wow, now you guys are resorting to cursing... you're real class acts.
So, tell me, how would I print a TIFF while it was still zipped? I wouldn't. I would DECOMPRESS it first.
How do you decompress a PNG?

By opening it. A PNG is only compressed while stored as a file. It's the same principle as zipping it manually, instead the process is handled transparently by the graphics application.

Not only that - take a TIFF. There is an option in Photoshop to compress a TIFF using LZH and other compression formats. Guess what - that means I now have a COMPRESSED TIFF. To decompress - I just open it. Its part of the format.
Same with PNG. PNG is IDENTICAL to compressed TIFFs when it comes to image quality.
Any "pro" photo processing place that laughs at you for using PNGs is like using an nutritionist to do brain surgery.
