i set up a christian blogging dealio...
but red rocket thought this might make a stink... so i was just curious.
but since i did it, i might as well see if things get started for this easier than for the christian one...

I wouldn't mind taking up fundamentalist Islam, but only if I don't have to pray or read the Koran or follow any rules or worship Allah or anything like that.
Fix all that and I'm good to go.

Why is the "Looking for christian bloggers" thread in the lounge, while the "Looking for fundamentalist islamist bloggers" is in the Pol/War Lounge?

Surely the Islamic equivalent to "Looking for Christian bloggers" would be "Looking for Muslim bloggers".
So, to even this all out you would have to now start a "Looking for Muslim bloggers" thread in the lounge and then a "looking for fundamentalist Christian bloggers" in the Political Corner.
I would also have to mention Cthulhu in all four of them. For symmetries sake.

its all in response to red rocket's comments on the christian one... this is becoming complicated... hard to keep up with...
at least a few people are taking the christian one seriously... it's becoming fascinating to see how people are even responding to the two ideas... more fun than i would have anticipated

Of course, there's no such thing as a "fundamentalist Muslim." There aren't any Presbyterian Jews or Sunni Hindus, either.

i'm afraid i dont understand this at all. There certainly could be presbyterian jews, sunni hindus might be tough... but fundamentals of any group seems legitimate to me... hmm...
