that weather/time thing in the bottom-right corner of your desktop.. is that a konfabulator or dashboard widget? or an entirely different app? also, i've seen some desktops with a "rewind, play, fast-forward" control on their menu bar (presumably for itunes), what app is this?

sorry if these may be well-known apps but have noticed them a lot and havent ever found out what they are. thanks

Nice desktop, ZX. Thanks for giving appEXT PaperAGV a run
Would you be so kind to comment on what parts of SIRO you've been modding ? I'm in that place myself right now.
Also, I was wondering how you put "Desktop Safari Apps Menu" in your Finder toolbar.

1. open a Finder window and Choose View > Customize Toolbar

2. then open a second finder window

3. from the second Finder window drag whatever you need to the first Finder Window tollbar (while it's still in "customize toolbar.." mode)

*you can also drag stuff from your Desktop while your Finder window is in a "customize toolbar.." mode.

regarding Siro i will get back to you in a few and thank you for making them (appEXT PaperAGV) they are the best.

its actually much simpler that this - just drag something over the finder toolbar, wait a second and the "+" sign will show, then you can just drop it where you want it. to remove it just drag it while holding the command (apple) key.

there is no need for two windows or entering the customise toolbar mode
I free'd my mind... now it won't come back.

Is Konfabulator being run then in addition to Dashboard? Or is there a way to get Konfab widgets working on the desktop through Dashboard. Newbie question, I know, but I'm not getting my Mac for another two weeks, and I want it all sorted by then.

TIA.
