I can't believe that in the nine years this show's been on, nobody has created a topic for it. Anyone watch it? Series finale is tonight.

Yes, I watch(ed) it, but I'm only up to Season 6.
Season 7 and 8 are already ripped and waiting to be watched sometime.
So, no spoilers, please

When it's on, sure. One of the channels here seems to have some sort of infinite rerun rights and broadcast old episodes all the time. The older seasons are quite good, but what I've seen of the latest has been rather stale.

The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

Can someone spoiler tag and then explain for someone who's never seen it, why people are pissed off?
I'm only half getting it from articles because they assume you already know about the show.

I haven't watched it, but I read a few articles today:
The mother dies and the kids notice that his story of how he met their mother is more about his unrequited love for their aunt, Robin, and they urge him to pursue her

it kind of, is.
On the one hand, it's kind of realistic that barney and robin wouldn't make it, and sure, friendships fade over the years. On the other, what a letdown to spend the whole season hyping this wonderful love match wedding, and then pffft, yeah, they got divorced, as a matter of course. And all the buildup to meeting the mother, and we barely meet her before poof, she's dead.
Interesting, though, I think I read this is how the creators planned this from the start.

The worst part is it sounds like the writers did a good job of introducing a new character that the fans thought was awesome enough to replace Robin as Ted's love interest.

That's not much of a spoiler, considering the name of the show.
