I noticed something funny with Quicktime performance on X. I like to watch the Quicktime videos at www.U2.com, but they don't play properly on any Mac OS X box I've seen. Major frame drops make them almost unviewable. Since other Quicktime movies play nicely, this has to be a bug in the Quicktime for X implementation. Some codec or other Quicktime feature the guys at U2.com are using that isn't implemented properly in X.
Any thoughts on that?

Something different: Apple is restreaming the Keynote at a much lower datarate than the live stream. This sucks because I'd like to show certain clips to friends. But not with this image quality. Just something I thought I'd mention.
