Hi, is there any way of automating the launch of programmes.
What I want to do is have the computer work during night hours whitout having to remember to launch the apps.

Any advice appreciated.

Yes, crontabs and the "open" command.

The easiest way is to make a recurring iCal event and set the alarm type to "Open file... <the application>".
