I am using Mozilla 1.0 Release Candidate 1
Mozilla is very easily customizable.
- Like no pop ups * check mate MacNN *
- Not having the broswer window beeing moved all over the screen *take that stuiped hacker sites!*
- Doesn't open another window unless I want it to * yet again take that stuiped hacker sites *

I can't wait for 1.0 full release to be out!

I'm splitting my time between OmniWeb, Mozilla and iCab. Love the looks of OW and the fact that it can use Services. Love the speed and tabbed browsing of Mozilla. And iCab is a real speed demon, but lacking several features.

I like iCab's flexability, but I love Opera's look and speed. I use IE 99.9% of the time, though, because Steve Jobs is my personal lord and saviour and he told me to. No, honest!

Netscape 6 has improved (I think I have 6.2) somewhat. It's still bloatware (like IE isn't?) but at least now you can decide whether or not you want to install the email/news client and AIM.

iCab, is speedy and has a lot of ways to configure it, nice. 2.8 works well with Java.

Ditto for me, and it's much more stable than previous releases.

Off-topic question:

Has anyone figured a way to get iCab to work w/iTools?? I tried to change the identity settings, no luck.....i either get error saying I'm not on a Mac, or I need NE or IE to use blah, blah.....Just wondering.

In X, I use Omniweb. If IE gets updated and has anti-aliased text, its IE all the way .

I used to use iCab - but the thing's never coming out of Preview, it seems.

Since Mozilla RC1 came out, I've been using that nonstop. No problems that I've encountered with it yet. As a backup, I use Netscape 4.7x if there's a site that Mozilla can't render....which I've not encountered yet.

Icab is nice, but Mozilla is almost done!

Mozilla RC1 all the time. I love OW, but Mozilla's speed is alot better, IMO...plus tab browsing! You have to love it!

Chimera for me.

IE...I don't use. I think we're all anti-Microsoft, so I need not explain my anti-IE reasonings.

OmniWeb...is it jsut me, or do things not work in it? Like..websites?

Netscape takes too long to start up...very unspeedy.

Monzilla...I just didn't like. It was basically Netscape..obviously.

I've had the best luck with Chimera..and it's only..what... 0.2? Not bad vor this early of a Beta. I highly recommend it...and I'm a webmaster, too.

I haven't used iCab in a while (I've made it a habbit of opening Mozilla) but I'm pretty sure that by installing iTools on another browser, opening the pluggin folder for that other browser, and then copying the iTools pluggin to the pluggin folder on iCab, you can get it to work. I know that I tried this once, but it was so long ago that I can't remeber if it was for sure successful.

iCab.
Occasionally, OmniWeb.

On older computers, Netscape.

I prefer Mozilla 1.0rc1 or rc2

And on Mac OS 9... good old Netscape Comm. 4.79

In X, it's Mozilla for me most of the time, with Omniweb as the second choice. IE gets launched only as a last resort for the occasional page. Chimera looks *very* promising but is barely useable yet......I will be following its progress with eager eyes.....

iCab is great, I have no complaints and wouldn't want to be without it.
I run it from a RAM disk so it flies.

I'm still using IE 5.1 as my main browser, but I've been trying out OmniWeb since sneakypeek 46, and am currently using Chimera 0.2.7. I just love tabbed browsing!

Haven't tried Mozilla yet though... does it have an email client in it? I'm only interested in a browser, not one of these Netscape type bloated packages such as Communicator 6...

Quick question: does Mozilla RC2 work on OS 8.6? Some of the mozilla.org documentation says OS 9, while some of it says 8.5--it's confusing.
