I got it from the Epson UK site: go to
<a href="http://www.epson.co.uk/cgi-bin/epson-uk/driveruk.pl" target="_blank">http://www.epson.co.uk/cgi-bin/epson-uk/driveruk.pl</a>
and select it from the menu!

WOW! I never thought this day would come! I'm at work, so I'm not sure if it even works for me yet, but just having it posted is amazing to me! I had all but written off my 1200 as a novelty of Classic days, but no more!

Wee!!

This is great, incredible, fantastic news! And I just bought a shiny new digital camera!!

The question remains... will it work with Jaguar?

Hallelujah! I downoaded it last night. And it works. Goodbye 1440 dpi for even the quickest test print. Now I just need some more ink. I'm low.

WOW!

i just bought an ethernet-based laserwiter with 420,000 prints on it for x printing (weeks ago), and now and i can go ahead and plug the 1200 back in and do color! whoopie!

as soon as the dvd finishes burning, and the install finishes optimizing, i'm giving it a whirl (at least the laserwriter is cheaper to run and does very fast black and white prints over the network).

OK, it has finally sunk in - this is the biggest thing that has happened for me in os x fulfillment of overly expensive printing-like oversize paper-taking product support - i can print all sizes and colors now without any corporate executive ever saying they were supporting it or not or and then i get to use it.

like they finally support my $500 printer.

Now the next step is for Epson to update their drivers to support borderless printing. I bought an Epson Stylus Photo 780 a few months back, and it works fairly well except for the fact that their OS X driver does not have the same functionality as their OS 9 driver.

Most notably, in OS X it is currently not possible to print "border-free" photos, one of the main reasons I bought the printer to supplement my laser printer. I have to print via Classic to print borderless photos...major inconvenience.

Of course, Epson blames Apple and says that the OS doesn't support that, but I don't know, I think that's a crock. Hopefully Jaguar with CUPS will fix all that.

Anyone with some insight? Will Epson release updated drivers to correct these current deficiencies?

has anyone who installed the UK driver installed the American one? It was just release a couple of days ago, and I was wondering the best method for installing the American version. Also have you noticed any differences, positive or negative between the two.
