ok, so here's the fix for the bug which doesn't recognize your superdrive, dvd-rom, etc...

Simply remove the applestoragedrivers.kext from the Extensions folder.
Location: Drive (your drive c48 is installed on)/System/Library/Extensions

and replace it with the same file AppleStorageDrivers.kext from a drive that has 10.1.5 installed

(you must be in root, or use sudo -s, for you unix people, to do this)

Reboot and the drive works fine :&gt
