Greetings,

I have this problem on my network at the office. Macs on two different subnets are unable to change their NT passwords with DAVE. The error I get is:

A network error has occured. Unable to find the primary domain controller.

The PDC is there and the Macs can ping it and mount it using DAVE, but cannot change their passwords. This becomes a big problem since the corporate policy is to change passwords every 30 days.

We had a problem in the past where this happened because it appeared that the Macs were caching bad WINS info for 14 days. But that was only on one subnet.

Any help would be appreciated.
