One way is to use a program like SnapzX.

You know audiohijack ? Well, that's like videohijack, and it'll capture whatever is playing anywhere on your desktop regardless of what format it's in.

If it's QuickTime, just make sure that your plug-in settings are set to "Save Movies In Disk Cache" and after watching it go look for large .MOV files in there.

Cheers, but I already own SnapzX and Audio Hijack Pro and
the Mac I'm on is not 'fast' enough to use SnapzX and get any
kind of reasonable frame rate back from it.
I just hoped someone may know how to 'sort the source' and
show/embed a direct link to download.

Thanx

A bit of View Source and: http://raincloud.warnerbros.com/wip/us/med/scanner_darkly/2.35/scanner_darkly_tlr1_qt_500.mov

But don't ask me if that's the one you can download, I don't have QT Pro at work, or a Mac

Yeah, that's true. The Mac does need to be powerful enough to capture it in a decent way. I wouldn't even bother to attempt using SnapzX on my Pismo for example.

Great. Guano Reeves gets to ruin another work of sci-fi....

Any experts here think they know how they got that "look"? Did they record real video and screw with it or are these renderings of 3D models?

Correction: Neither of those methods work with QuickTime 7. It doesn't matter what OS it is, QT7 munges cache files.

Personal taste and all that but this appears to be an ensemble screw-up. Posting the trailer served it's purpose for me. I will give this one a pass. May re-read the book and hope for no residuals of this footage. Footage it aint. Some things can't be unseen. Damn.

Christ... and it has Winona too. So much potential for a scifi flick and they give the roles to these saps?

Looks funkin great. On a sidenote, my favorite trek episode is "In a Mirror, Darkly" in the last season of Enterprise. Scanner Darkly looks like a look at what could happen in the US, darkly...

We've printed about 4 or 5000 t-shirts for them, so far. Mostly wrap parties, art crew, that sort of stuff. But if you see a Scanner Darkly shirt, it probably came from my shop.

I'll go see it-- reminds me of 70's era heavy metal, style-wise.

Can I have a tshirt. Under the image of Keanu I want it to say "We have a Keanu" and a gold PSP.
