Don't know much about hockey. So, it's football ( soccer, as you call it) time!
Champions-league: after humiliating ManUnited and the royal Real Madrid, who's going to stop the Bavarian masters of the " Schwalbe" ( hitting the grass without ever been touched and faking injury. Preferably in the 'box') Bayern Mnchen?

All your balls are belong to Latin America!

This year it seems that most countries are up in the Brazilian level. Brazil lost to Ecuador, Paraguay, and tied with Peru. So I must warn you that South America is goint to kick some Euro-booty next year !!!

World-cup:

France ? - No, not again!
Netherlands ? - They'll be happy even to qualify.
Germany ? - see France
England ? They think it's all over,it is now!
Spain ? - Maybe if Figo and Rivaldo naturalise.
Italy ? - Muwahahahaha
Ireland ? - see Italy/Netherlands

I set my hopes on any African nation to win, but you're right it's probably a South-American lifting the cup 2002.

Look. If you are going to use that stupid, overused, for-retards-only phrase you might as well do it right.

The first noun is singular.
"All your ball are belong to Latin America"

In your case, what balls??

I don't blame Congress. If I had $600 billion, I'd be
irresponsible too.

LOL!

"Your balls" has a clearer second connotation than "your ball".

Anyway, that Cup will come to Latin America next year!

Isn't "Eurotrash" the name of a TV show or something?
