Before you read this post, I must declare that I am totally aware of all the risks of being flamed for this. Now read.
Except for the Republican tendencies, Ca$h is pretty cool. He likes electronic music, going fast in cars, and f*cking over large corporations who hate consumers. Also, his usernames for these fora are getting very creative. Ca$h is the type of person I'd hang out with outside of the Internet. Ca$h, you rock! BTW, do you have an AIM screen name or anything?

The snowstorm must be affecting someone's thinking
I have no problem with Ca$h. It's fun arguing with him, even if he is violent and abusive about it at times, and horribly wrong others. As with any flamewar, it always helps to keep your emotions in check before posting.

I'm libertarian, not republican; although I feel a lot closer to the repubs side than democrats. Democrats believe that more government and more rules and more regulations and more politically correct bullsh*t lead to a greater, more equal, more 'fair' life.
Life is not fair. I believe society is best, and most beautiful when most of the rules are taken away, yet we still have a safe environment. Play Dues Ex to know what I mean. Heh. Kinda like how I think the forums should operate- a microcosm of my idealology in fact. Less regulations= better
Here's an example: AOL is my primary ISP right now... and will be until Jan 17th. My IM name is cash68, bug me sometime.

Pardon my ignorance, but could someone give me a brief outline of the whole Ca$h controversy. I remember a few posts and then all of a sudden he is gone and the board is abuzz with Ca$h-chat...
Thanks.

Well ... for years, people complained about cash. Honest, hardworking forum members fretted and worried about cash. Then along came the debit card, and suddenly folks aren't nearly as concerned about cash. I believe we may be moving towards a cashless society.

hey why don't you two get together to discuss high compression hubcaps, carbon fiber underwear, twin overhead dipsticks and stuff over a few brews, put on some electronic music or sneakers in the washer and let your angst run free. Hopefully you're bigger than $ Kozmik

If Ca$h weren't here, everyone would get along and sing songs and be bored. Imagine how awful it would be! If everyone agrees on everything, then forums suck ass. If Ca$h starts flaming a post its great entertaining disagreement!

Hey, what are you singing? I was singing a Johnny Cash song... Folsom Prison Blues... uh, ok, got the lyrics wrong... let me find em and fix that...

I hear the train a-comin'
it's rollin' 'round the bend,
And I ain't seen the sunshine
since I don't know when,
I'm stuck at Folsom Prison
and time keeps draaaaggin' on.
But that train keeps a-rollin'
on down to San Antone.
ok, who can find the next verse!

after reading gumby's post about getting ca$h his name back.
(this is if he wants it back)
maybe we should all put
"FREE CA$H68"
in our sig and show our support. for the record ca$h is probably one of the reasons i stop back so often, just to see who he's going to offend next.

I think they should just give Ca$h back his original name. All these other names are confusing the hell outta me. And it would be nice to see "Elite Memeber" (or whatever it would be) moniker by his name, that'll show all the c o c k y newbies that he has been here for a hell of alot longer than they have.
(lousy censoring)

how about "MacNN fed Intraveinously" or however you spell it.
Unfortunatly, I'll be here less next semester, as I'll actually have stuff to do, friends near me, and females.
So. :| Oh well. Girls, booze, friends, and homework is way better than any internet forum.

Aha... very nice pics...
seems like some people enjoyed that Karate Kid movie!
It's nice to see that you have a life after all...
I agree we should give Ca$h68 his old nickname... I think most of the people here have agreed on that. We call it democracy, right?

It's not the first one I've had.
I just thought that the onus should be on the author of the page to post it, not someone else.
Then again, maybe I am dead wrong on this one. Who will administer my spanking?

If my terrible memory serves me correct, which it never does, last time I saw a Ca$h68 post it had 900 or so posts, or maybe more.

No, it had just over 1000.
Plus 5 or 6 hundred under different usernames, 1 or 2 of which (maybe 3) got over 100 posts before being band...
Well whatever way its right up there.
