I'm presuming you mean my comment? Just watched Shaun of the Dead for the 4th time last night, and stumbled across this thread (don't frequent the GUI forum much) and so thought I'd comment.

Since I'm here, I suppose I should make a mildly on topic comment though: I do find Adam Betts' wood more 'woody' than yours currently is. I agree with Zimphire's 'brass' comment, I'm afraid...
Just who are Britain? What do they? Who is them? And why?

but brass is just a golden color.....
wood is not yellow, its darker

and im almost done.... applewood2 will be done by tomorrow!

edit: i figured out why people have said that my theme looks like brass.... because there is already a brass theme..... people just don't understand new ideas, they have to relate the new ideas to old ones. Afraid of change?

I think the point is that we associate wood with a defined grain. Now, being someone who works with wood a lot, I know this is not too general a case - but still...

And no - I have never seen the brass theme you mention....

well you see, im not going back and remaking the theme
if its a good theme, then people will use it
not if its too dark or some ****

MAYBE ITS STAINED WOOD!? ever thought of that? a nice coat of finish on it? but no..... i would never put finish on wood...... its a terrible idea and i don't like it very much at all

hey look! i'm going to be done by tonite....................

My friend told me that apple has made a wood interface for tiger, just like mine..... just a rumor though. I really hope this isn't a waste of time :'(
I'm not going to make silverwood, but if anyone else wants to make the variation for me to include in the guikit package, i will give you full credit
its just i'm kind of sick of the whole wood thing, i'm going to be updating the first theme i've ever made next called ice11

applewood2 will be done tomorrow nite btw

1) The "here" link doesn't work. It's actually here.

2) Whatever happened to the idea that the X-+ widgets would be screws? I really liked that idea.
