What's with these odd TV schedules lately? For example V, which started off very successfully, went on hiatus until last week. The other two shows that I watch (The Clone Wars and The Office) have had random schedules at best. Yesterday The Office just had two back to back episodes that originally aired earlier this season. And it seems like sometimes weeks go by without a new episode. I need some consistency guys! Anybody else notice any messed up schedules for TV shows that they follow?

Here's how to achieve consistency:

Cancel yer subscriptions. Acquire complete seasons of shows at the end of the year and watch at leisure. Also beneficial with shows like Lost, where the plot is so complex that you can't follow it if you've been to sleep seven times between eps.

Really. Serious. Unplug. It's much better.
Been inclined to wander... off the beaten track.

Meh, I don't follow any complex shows. For me, Hulu is the most convenient.

Enjoy your inconsistent schedules then.

And don't forget to moan about them on Internet forums.

QFT.

So many series don't make sense watching if not back-to-back. I started this with 24. Since then I wait till the season is out on DVD and watch the full thing.

They have fewer episodes to last a whole season, and rather than run them at once they save the new ones for peak weeks for ratings. Thus, filler eps.

I gather things like olympics and baseball also mess things up.
