all of a sudden out of nowhere, i cant find my documents folder, and i know that no way would i have deleted it. last time i used it was to move a file from the desktop through quicksilver to the documents folder. anyone knows how i can find it, or if there is a utility to recover anything out of it, it is very very important
thanks a lot

Are you running Tiger? Did you try to do a search with Spotligth/Finder?

Sounds like it might be lost. Just get the data off your backup.

If you deleted it, you might be able to get it back with Data Rescue, although the odds shrink dramatically if you've used the drive much at all since then.

Teaching him/her a lesson, eh? I didn't read anything about a backup. Are you pretending to have a false assumption, in an attempt to make Hani feel like ****? That's really sweet of you!

It wasn't a lesson at all. If the person has a regularly scheduled backup, it sounds like it might be more time conscious to just use the backup data and cut your losses. Data recovery can be a time consuming and expensive process, so sometimes it's easier in these situations to get cut back a week and use backup data.
I didn't read anything about a backup either. If I lost my data, I probably wouldn't mention mine. So what?
What are you talking about dumb ass?
