I wish they'd all come forward and sign their names on some sort of official document. If it's even 1/3 of that, I'd be stunned.

I think it's important we remember who we're talking about...

...assaulted her husband. And given the right outfit and toys, that could be a lot of fun. Probably not $100 million of fun (see Wachowski brother nightmare for comparison), but still highly preferable over drunk driving.

But seriously, I commend him for (apparently) not beating the sh*t out of her in response. As hot headed as he is, he clearly demonstrated some self control in this particular situation. On the other hand, if he plans on divorcing her, it may well have been simple self-preservation launching him out of his front door. Pics of bruises on a woman are terrifying in a divorce hearing.

He used to drive a Buick. I've seen him pull up in one at a tournment. Buick cancelled their deal with him due to the GM bankruptcy.

But yeah, now that he isn't sponsored by them anymore interesting to note he's driving a Caddy.

Looks like more women are coming out of the woodwork. If both alleged affairs were to be true, it would appear that Tiger has a thing for brunettes with blonde highlights who work in nightclubs and bars.

I'd love to see high-quality video of his presence at one of these bars, drinking and picking up chicks. I wonder what kind of pick-up lines he would use. Or, if you are Tiger Woods, is there no need for words? Is there a universal signal that women give to married mega-stars that says "I am totally willing to be your sex-toy whenever, whenever, however"?

Another day, another brunette who works in the nightclub industry.

After having seen the police report's description of the car's path, I don't think his wife was chasing his with a golf club. Not that my guess is any better, but I think Tiger was wasted.

That tree probably saved a life.

Love this line, too:
When the argument escalated, Tiger left the house and... told Elin: "You've ruined our Thanksgiving! Are you happy now?"

That was my first thought, too, but the local police cleared him of any type of impaired driving. Of course, they could be in on it, too....

The guy was slipping in and out of consciousness when they arrived on scene (30 minutes after accident). So I don't know how they could have so quickly made that assessment.

Anyway, I just read this in Chicago Sun TImes. It appears Tiger's wife is looking to cash in return for staying (7-figures, cash, transferred to her account, reworked pre-nup, etc.).

Also, don't look for Woods' wife, Elin, to be moving out of the couple's Windermere, FL., mansion anytime soon. The links legend's spouse is reportedly being paid a hefty seven-figure amount — immediately transfered into an account she alone controls — to stick with her husband.

On top of that, my source indicated Elin Nordegren Woods, the mother of Tiger's two children, has demanded — and is getting — a total rewrite on the couple's prenuptial agreement making the incentives for her to remain Mrs. Tiger Woods even more enticing.

At this point, the couple needed to remain married for 10 years in order for Woods' wife to collect a splitsville settlement of $20 million. I'm being told that time frame has been shortened — and the dollar amount increased "substantially."

Seriously?!

I mean, we all feared it was coming, but today has been mind-blowing to me! Like... I was sitting in the library today just going "wow... wow... wow"....

I mean, this time last week Tiger Woods was perhaps the last unimpeachable American superstar athlete, wouldn't you say? What didn't he have? He was a black man AND an asian man, who went to Stanford, who's dominated his formerly-all-white sport like perhaps no other athlete in the new millennium, who has almost-beyond-imagining competitive drive and yet is quotable, engaging, and wears classy polo shirts and strolls around a lawn like gentleman royalty! And he even went out and got an incredibly hot white woman to marry and made cute little kids! And he's overcome family deaths and won the greatest Major ever on one knee and just generally, turned gracefully into a middle-age man in front of our eyes.

And now, it turns out that he's not happy that his hot blond wife probably doesn't take it in the ass, so he prefers sleeping with slutty party girls all over the nation. Well, **** son.

Crazy. Just... crazy.

Did I not just give an entire paragraph on how Tiger was possibly the most perfect role model superstar athlete up until last week?

Meh. Another rich celebrity was screwing someone other than his/her spouse. I really don't see how that's huge.

What "airbrush"? I mean yeah, a lot of people who follow Tiger know that he could swear like a trooper and was just a normal guy, plus more intensity than 3 people put together.

But there's nothing to "airbrush" - up until this happened, he had literally done nothing wrong. Nothing! In today's media world! The man was the perfect superstar.

Anyways, apparently I'm alone on this. But I think it's crazy.

Yes, seriously. The accident was interesting when people were saying he was in serious condition. It was interesting when they cleared it up. But infidelity from a rich famous athlete (even a rather bland "perfect one). Not shocking. Not in today's world. (That he had more than one affair? Even less shocking)

You know what would make all of what's coming out mind blowing? If we all previously had thought he was gay. Otherwise, this is par for the sports male course.

Errr... Unless you know the person, well, personally, the image you see is always airbrushed.

Good boy images are airbrushed.

Bad boy images are also airbrushed to a certain extent too, to maintain that image.

Otherwise, half the PR people in North America would be out of a job.

That's.What.She.Said.

Seriously, yes, I am shocked. I mean, OK the guy's human, so what. I thought he had a bit better focus than that (I thought he was too stingy for this too -- he's out $300 million at a minimum). He's a genius in some things, and obviously dumb as hell in others.

His Dad would be devastated by this whole deal, but he probably knew about this stuff, he'd have to have known.

Yeah I agree with you all, but my point was that up until this point, he wasn't human.

Call me an optimist, but I for one was hoping he'd make it through the wringer untouched.

However, if he's skewering little kittens in his backyard, then I'd be shocked.

The best line so far:

"Elin Nordegren is the #2 earner this year in the PGA Tour."

Actually, to be nitpicky, she would be #4 with her (initial) $5 million, behind Tiger Woods ($10.5 million... or $5.5 million after the renup), Steve Stricker ($6.3 million), and Phil Mickelson ($5.3 million).

I think I have a good read on what went down.

Tiger was junked up on his Ambien and sexting Rachel Uchitel while wife was in bed (he was somewhere else in the house, as was his mother, his kids, and Elin's mother) after a long Thanksgiving. Someone (probably his wife) caught Tiger in the act of pleasing himself and texting with this other person. Elin grabbed for the mobile device to see for herself. A fight ensued, and wasted Tiger took off and attempted to drive away until he finally banged into an immovable object. He fell asleep behind the wheel. Doors locked. Elin tries to get Tiger out, but he's asleep. She goes back to the house and grabs some golf clubs, hopping in a golf cart to zip back to the Escalade. She smashes out windows to gain access to Tiger, and she gets him out.

He's falling asleep on the ground. Neighbors come out, call 911. Neighbors said they smelled no booze or drugs on Tiger... just that he keeps falling asleep. "Snoring away". This is a textbook DUI. Rachel Uchitel and the Woods family know exactly what went down, but all will remain silenced.
