I have an iTrip and it has never been used. Somehow I ended up with a 2nd one when returning several defective ones for replacement. I was told to just keep it and not return it.

Do they suck that bad? "Returning several replacements..." doesn't sound too good...

Apparently they do. The 4th one I got finally worked from more than 1ft away. The others I literally had to place them right next to the radio antenna to receive the signal. However, the one I have now works well, good signal level and sound in my car.
