I've always missed the Classic Mac forum, and I think I have an idea for getting it back.
The classic Mac OS forum is pretty small and slow moving, so why not move classic Mac discussion from the Power Mac forum on over to the classic Mac OS forum and rename it.
Slow moving threads about classic Macs are also difficult to discuss in a quicker moving forum like Power Mac also.

Yeah, pre g3 in the classic mac os forum would be good, i agree, traffic is fast enough in the power mac forum that some topics will go ignored.

Good idea.

Classic Mac OS is slow enough that adding an "Older Systems and Clones" forum to it rather than having it in the PowerMac forum would not really convolute the Mac OS threads nor the hardware threads.

I like...

Yup. This is a good idea. I support it.

Very good idea. Let me see what the mods/admins have to say about it.

Anything to report after talking to the mods/admins about this?

*crossing fingers that I get my forum*

Yep, I wouldn't have much use for it, but sounds like a good idea for the future. Basically an 'anything to do with older Macs' forum.

It would be a good idea, only because Macs seem to have a longer lifespan than PCs.

Not so much last longer, as they are used longer.

The classic OS and Mac forum is a good idea, but the title of the "Power Mac" forum hasn't been changed to reflect where Pre-G3 hardware questions belong. Shall I assume that this is just an oversight?
