Hello everyone,
I'm having a little trouble putting the VGA cover on my iMac DV. I can remove and install the original cover at ease, but the new cover just won't snap into place. It seems to fit, but it won't snap into place or stay in place. Has anyone else had this issue? I assume there's no harm done just leaving the cover off, but I'd really like to get it on there. Thanks.
Brad

Are you sure your putting it in correctly? It isn't that difficult to do, and you should be able to do this.

I tried putting in the original cover, and that worked fine. I tried putting in the other one the same way I did the first and it won't stay.
Maybe my new question should ask if anyone wants to sell theirs

Great! Cheaper shipping I'd imagine since we're both in Canada. Email me at [email protected] with your price.

Give it a whack...
Mine wouldn't go in at first, but a firm 'slap' and it was fine.

Does it come out easy if you've "whacked" it in? It does feel like it needs a solid whack but I've also been super duper careful with my iMac it's difficult to get rowdy with it. I'll try though, thanks for the suggestion.
