How do i open a .sh file?

I downloaded Limewire but cant open it up, it has .sh at the end of the filename.

Anyone have any ideas?

It is a shell script. It has to be run from the command line. There are some instructions on the net on how to install it and also set it up so you have an icon to run it. Can't recall where.

Anyway, to install it, copy it to your home directory say. Start the terminal program, and type:

chmod u+x thefilename.sh
./thefilename.sh

Yeah, it is a bit nasty for a non-unix person. Someone may have put a nice installer on it somewhere - you'll need to look around for it.
