Hello all --

I would appreciate some help on this if possible. I have a Rev B dual 2.0 G5, 2 GB RAM, 9800XT, 74GB Raptor / 160 GB OEM PowerMac. The only peripherals connected are an ADC 23" Cinema display, iSight, and USB Soundsticks. A LaCie external FW800 drive is connected but rarely on (only for backups). Apple Wireless KB & Mouse are used. Running 10.3.7, all updates applied.

Anyway, this machine KPs every once in a while, about two or three times a month and it is used daily. It always happens at the same time... within 5 seconds of waking from sleep. I make it a point to quit all apps before sleeping the machine at night. I am a bit worried because it has done this twice in the past 2 days, so it may be getting worse. Disk Utility repair disk says everything is fine and repair permissions fixes a couple things that seem benign.

Does anyone have any ideas on what may be causing it? I have enclosed the panic.log below but have absolutely no idea how to make sense of it. Any help would be appreciated.

1. Run the Apple Hardware Test on it.
2. Run memtest on the machine.
3. Is the temperature of the various components within normal parameters (as Data would say)?
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

Disconnect your USB soundsticks and FW drive and see if it still happens.

Go to your /Library/Receipts folder and delete your OS 10.3.7 receipt, then download the combo OS X 3.7 installer from the Apple site, do a repair permissions... then run the installer, then reboot and run a repair permissions again...

if that doesn't work, do an Archive and Install... you have a corruption in your OS X.. nothing wrong with your USB devices.
