It doesnt have to be an Apple AV cable. I nabbed the same type AV cable from my mothers PC laptop. The problem with me is that my televisions do not have the necessary input sockets?

As a result I had to buy a convertor for 5pound thatll allow me to plug the cable into a scart connection.

Dont know if that is what you were looking for.
