Has anyone else experienced any problems with using the trackpad for longer than 10 minutes on the PBG4? After awhile it becomes erratic and random making the computer entirely unusable, but a quick sleep solves it.

Is this something I should send it back in to apple for?

Thanks in advance,

Dio

I had a similar problem last week when I was installing the latest Norton patch. It seemed to have fixed itself after I zapped the PRAM. Good luck...

From Apple KnowledgeBase:

Resetting PRAM:
1. Shut down the computer.
2. Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
3. Press the power button to turn the computer on. You will hear the computer's startup sound.
4. Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
5. Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
6. Release the keys.

Use your MAC HELP MENU!!!
type in PRAM and hit enter

for your trackpad problem, it could be your fingers... if they get a little moist due to the heat, that could cause it to not function properly. (just a tip)
