Last week I was almost tempted to buy Unreal Tournament for 19.99 which i thought was a reasonable price. I went to a PC reseller the next day and saw UT for pc at 9.99. This is extremly annoying.

I know their are some hybrid games out their like Myst 3, but are their any more?

Can anyone make up a list so that mac gamers can save 10-20 quid at a time?

Although UT is not a hybrid cd (other than the PC version being compatible with Windows and Linux) there are a few others...

-> Quake 3 (you can download the executable for Mac, PC & Linux therefore it doesn't matter what cd you have)

->Terminus (again, for Mac, PC and Linux)

->Doom 1 & 2

->Marathon Infinity

I know there are others...just can't think of them at the moment.

Also

Starcraft battlechest
Diablo II (must say hybrid on box)
Diablo II expansion

In fact most blizzard titles are hybrid cds. I bought the above ones in the hybrid format.

Aspyr and macsoft do most mac conversions and they obviously release mac only versions of games.
MacBook Alu, 13", 2.4Ghz, 4GB RAM, 256MB video
G5 Imac, 17", 1.9Ghz, 1.5GB RAM, 128MB video, built in isight, airport and bluetooth
Indigo iBook, 366mhz; 320MB RAM; CD; FW; Airport

Not that it's that "action packed", but Hoyle Casino is a hybrid Window/Mac cd...

Actually, all CDs made since the mac version came out last year have been hybrid. You can thus buy a 'Windows' version and it will have a mac installer too. Blizzard manufactures two boxes to track sales figures per-platform. I doubt anyone will still have the Windows-only versions that shipped for the first couple of months in mid-2000.

HOWEVER - buy the Mac boxed version if you can otherwise Blizzard'll think their Mac sales have decreased, and no-one wants that.
