iTools homepage builder is dead and unusable under omni web. Asked the guys at omni about this and it does not look good.
If only they would have a little better support, i would get rid of frikin IE

ESPN.com. Ever since their redesign, the front page will load and then will leave and load a bunch of gibberish.
NY Times.com. The first time you visit an article during a session, it will leave and load the graphic for an advertisement.

MS Exchange Web E-mail access does not work. You can bring up the inbox, but cannot download any individual messages. This is not an OS X issue as IE works just fine (unfortunately).
Until this works flawlessly there is not a chance of getting me to pay for a licence.

Here's a site:
MY OWN!
The Flash intro is flaky in OmniWeb. Instead of auto-redirecting to the main page it goes back and replays the intro at full screen. Sometimes the intro crashes OmniWeb with the wheel of fortune. Then there are the Flash beats.
The pop-up Javascript windows don't work all of the time.
Sorry to say, but anyone with OS X will have to put up with Internet Exploiter Preview or any of the Classic browsers. :o
Wow, Post #69. Errr...never mind.

Oh, www.bmw.com the menus don't work... there are so many sites that don't work but I can't remember right now... Anyway, has anyone noticed the problem where images only half load correctly, and the botton half is all splintered and looks corrupted? This is VERY annoying to me and happens at a lot of sites I really like OW... but there is so little compatibility with so many sites! I wish Apple could just fund OW and put a team of 100 on it... it's get's me angry that Mac OS X, or just Mac OS doesn't have a browser (any of them) that support as many sites as IE for Windowz... very unfortuate, but maybe we'll be equal someday!

My favourite browser is Opera, even though it is still in beta, and crashes quite often. But IE5.1 is not the solution for me. It stalls quite often, and the only thing to do is to kill it. Opera has one major bug, downloading goes wrong quite often. Then I prefer Omniweb, but many websites get displayed wrongly, like www.tucows.com.
Opera is fast!
(but look what happens when I use the bold-button down here: strange code is added in Opera, which I'm using right now, and which I have deleted btw.) Anyway, Opera is my favourite macnn-browser. I use IE for my online banking, and if both give problems, I use Omniweb. If you ever use Windows, use Opera. I cannot display all sites correctly, but it is so fast! And one really nice feature is the back button: it reacts immediately, not waiting for headers or complete new pages; the page is there in a split second.

while we're on the subject of omniweb bugs.
I've just noticed that going to a page that asks for authorisation (like an .htaccess area) crashes omniweb 4.0.3 on 10.1 5f24. I'm sure it'll be fixed when 10.1 come out, just thought I'd mention it...

Just FYI 4.0.3 seemed to have fixed a bunch of sites with js issues.
Well at least on my list quicken.excite.com works now and so does carpoint.com. My online banking finally works now too. wahoo
Doesn't handle flash very well. prior 4.0.3 icebox.com wouldn't load, now it loads but doesn't play.
home.excite.com
has a big flash nav that doesn't load and messes up the formatting on the entire page.
There was this girls photograhy site I was on it used flash for some navigation, demo thing, was the worst affected I've been on, you had to reload the page to start the flash movie again after following a flash link if you wanted to follow another link. I forgot to write the url down
Also with nonembeded (referenced) qt movies I wish they would just play in a blank OW window instead of opening qt player. Hey and please don't post ads for other browsers, there are already threads like that.

ah another thing. ever notice how sometimes after OW bombs you can still use the browser? Crash Catcher came up 15-20 minutes ago, I have six windows open, still actively browsing in 2 of them.

What the nerd community most often fail to realize is that all features aren't equal. A well implemented and well integrated feature in a convenient interface is worth way more than the same feature implemented crappy, or accessed through a annoying interface.

The next link when viewing a list of ads is broken in omniweb, allowing you to view only the first page of search results.

British music rag the NME has really strange rendering problems under OmniWeb.

None of the JS/layer functionality works. Ah, if this site rendered correctly, I'd happily fork over the license fee...

www.macosxhints.com Middle column very narrow compared with rendering of it in IE and netscape.
www.mbanx.com online banking. Can't login. Not surprising, this site only supports netscape 4 for mac, not IE or netscape 6.
