I'm in the market for more ram after i decided that this thing will be my computer for another year

so i have 386 now, i want to get rid of the 128 and replace it with a single slot 512. will ram prices for pc100 sdram go up or down now that it seems sdram is a old standard now?

or will it go up because it's "rare" now?

thanks, i'll buy approraitely from the responses from this thread...

I'm tracking RAM prices for desktop memory and 512-megabyte modules have taken a dive to $30 for PC's. Notebook memory should fall accordingly very soon.

hey man, I have been on the verge of buying a 512 stick for months (waiting for my 'flo' situation to stabilize). Anyway, I have been watching the Samsung's at MemoryX and it seems as tho the price has actually gone up about $20 during this period (unless I'm mistaken about my recollection re: the original price). I think that they are selling for around $180 right now. I know that you can get a 512 stick from other manufacturers for around $125, but I think I'd like to stick w/ Samsung.
